Born in Worms, Germany in 1960. Lives in the Palatinate. Works as a graphic artist, draftsman and painter. Gerhard Hofmann received several prizes and scholarships early in his career, including from Salzburg in Austria, where he later worked as a graphics teacher at the "Sommerakademie für Bildende Kunst" for many years.
