Arbetar i olja, akryl, akvarell, gouache och med ”relief printing” (linoleumsnitt och träsnitt)

Född och uppvuxen i Perthshire i Skottland. Studerade måleri på Edinburgh College of Art under åren 1976-81. Hans konst finns nu i ett antal offentliga samlingar som t ex City Art Center Edinburgh and Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
